Greetings,
This, and an email sent to membership, will serve as notice of the CEMA Membership meeting following the 2008 Governor's Emergency Management Conference. The Membership meeting will convene at 12:15 on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Inverness Conference Center, 200 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO 80112 following lunch for CEMA members. The purpose of this meeting will be to conduct regular CEMA business.
Election of Officers
ARTICLE VI - Officers
Section 1 a) Officers shall be elected by a majority of the voting membership present at the first Membership Meeting of each year. The President and Treasurer will be elected on even years, with the Vice President and Secretary elected on odd years.
The CEMA Secretary, Gigi Lewis (gigi.lewis@state.co.us) will accept nominations or letters of intent to run for the positions of President and Treasurer until Wednesday, January 30, 2008. Emails are acceptable.
Nominations will be taken from the floor at the appropriate time during the Membership meeting if no nominations or letters of intent are received by the CEMA Secretary by the January 30, 2008 deadline. No absentee ballots we be provided due to nominations possibly being offered from the floor during the meeting.
